Why should you choose me?
I am an experienced support professional. I have a strong background in mental health, forensic services, and learning and development within the NHS. Over the years, I have worked across a range of roles. These roles include forensic services in Derby and environmental care coordination. More recently, I have been a Learning and Development Support Worker. I have held this position for the past four years.
Alongside my practical experience, I hold a counselling diploma, professional development training, and specialist bereavement counselling training. I have also contributed to a research project focused on depression, supporting innovative approaches using magnetic stimulation.
My career has always centred around supporting individuals with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. I now bring these skills to my role as a McKenzie Friend. I help clients feel confident, informed, and supported throughout their journey.
